Bring the Family Together
I have many kids here at home and most of the time they scatter to all corners of the house and put their headphones on. They've got a game controller in one hand and their cell phone in the other. Sometimes I feel like their social and interactive skills are dropping to an all time low as they continuously interface themselves with a faceless crowd. It can be challenging to get everybody together at the kitchen table just for dinner, let alone any family time. However, when you do get friends and family together for a fun, interactive game, you build relationships. So, take the time to gather everyone up, shut the tube off, turn the tunes down and enjoy the feeling of connecting with each other, while realizing that it's quite easy to have a rewarding human experience.
